DMK seeks immediate reimbursement of tuition fees

Puducherry, Sep 18 (UNI) Puducherry DMK Deputy leader and former Rajya Sabha member C P Thirunavukkarasu today sought the intervention of the Lt.Governor and the Chief Minister to ensure that students selected for higher education through the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) were reimbursed their tuition fees in time.

In a statement here, he pointed out that some senior officials remained a stumbling block in the issue and parents apprehended that their wards might not get the financial assistance in time.

The Government should ensure that higher education was not affected in the Union Territory by any means, he added.
