DMK functionary found dead

Thanjavur, Sep 18 ((UNI) A DMK functionary of Tiruchirapalli district was found dead at Mahilapuram village, near here, today.

Police said the deceased was identified as the party's district representative, Manohar alias ''bullet'' Manohar, hailing from Tiruverumbur near Tiruchirapalli.

On receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

The Police suspect it to be a murder for financial gains or due to previous enemity.
