CYSS burns J'khand CM in effigy

Ranchi, Sep 18 (UNI) Agitated over Jharkhand Chief Minister's statement over appointing local people in government jobs, the Chatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti(CYSS) today burnt Mr Madhu Koda in effigy.

Earlier, a procession was taken out which turned into a gathering near Albert Ekka Chowk.

CYSS convener Udayshanker Ojha said Mr Koda's announcement of apppointing only locals was an insult on people belonging to other states and living in Jharkhand for their livelihood.

Mr Ojha demanded that the Chief Minister tender an apology, otherwise it would create friction among people.

On September 12, Mr Koda had said at a function in Khunti that local people would be given priority in fresh government appointments.
