Hyderabad, Sep 18 (UNI) Sleuths of the CBCID today grilled former Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President and MP K Keshava Rao's son Venkat in connection with a murder case.

Police sources said the CID officials, along with Venkat, went to the latter's house, where his realtor friend Prashant Reddy was shot dead recently, and got details of the murder. The officials have seized Venkat's car and also questioned his wife Divya.

Meanwhile, the Forensic Science Laboratory had submitted a forensic report in the case to a local court. The report had reportedly stated that fingerprints of Reddy were seen on the revolver and gun powder on his shoulder and hands, the sources said.

Based on a complaint from Reddy's parents, police had booked a murder case against Venkat and the case was subsequently handed over to the CBCID.
