Additional DGP hold talks with officers, staff

Nashik, Sep 18 (UNI) Additional director general of police (training and special squads) Praveen Dikshit held discussions with police officials and other staff here yesterday.

According to sources, the discussions pertained to the alleged irregularities in the recruitment process of the Nashik rural police.

However, senior police officers denied that Dr Dikshit had arrived here to inquire into the alleged irregularities.

Several candidates had complained about the recruitment process which had commenced on August 17 this year. Nearly 9,000 candidates had appeared for the 335 posts.
