14 school students injured in lightning

Angul, Sep 18 (UNI) As many as 14 high school students, were injured when lightning struck them today at Banatala near here.

Police said three students, including a girl, were critically injured. They were shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital.

The remaining students were admitted to Angul government hospital.

The lightning struck while the students were returning to school after the recess.

Police said nearly 50 other students of the school also got minor injuries in incident.
