SHRM to launch HR certification programs in India

Mumbai, Sep 17 (UNI) Strategic Human Resources Management (SHRM) has partnered with Walchand PeopleFirst limited to launch certification programs in human resources learning and development in India.

Branded as SHRM India, the programs will commence by the end of next month and will provide a supplement to a degree and an alternative tool to build fundamental knowledge and expertise for HR professionals through well researched training programs.

''We are in the process of recruiting qualified trainers for the program, which is expected to contribute significantly for the skill development of HR professionals in India,'' said Walchand PeopleFirst executive director Sanjay Jha while speaking to reporters here today.

SHRM India is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Society for Human Resources Management and has operations in 125 countries across the world with a network of more than 575 affiliated chapters in the United States.
