Rs 50,000 looted from train passengers

Lucknow, Sep17: A gang of robbers looted Rs 50,000 and other valuables from the passengers aboard a train near Dullapur station in Mau district, police said today.

Robbers barged the train (572 down), en route from Varanasi to Azamgarh and fled with the booty late last night.

Two passengers were injured while opposing the robbery, police said. Investigation was on.
