DeveGowda meets Karnataka Governor
Bangalore, Sept 17 (UNI) In a significant development Janata Dal (S) national president and former Prime Minister H D Devegowda today met Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur and held a two-hour discussion.
The sudden meeting and the length of the discussion raised comes with just two weeks left the JD(S) to hand over the Chief Minister's post to its coailition partner BJP on October three.
Mr Devegowda left the Raj Bhavan from a back door without meeting the large number of media persons waiting at the main gate.
Mr Devegowda's visit to the Raj Bavan gains a significance as the count down for handing over of power to coalition partner BJP on October 3, had begun.
