Train indicator boards at 11major stations

Ratlam, Sep17: Coach guidance system will be introduced at Nagda, Chhittorgarh and Dahod stations and train indicator boards at 11 major stations of Western Railway's Ratlam division, official sources said.

A project costing about Rs 26 crore has been started under which 500-Km optical fibre cable(OFC) will be laid underground on Ratlam-Chanderia and Nagda-Bhopal sections, sources in the Signalling and Telecommunication Department said.

Laying of underground OFC will help computerised booking over PRS and Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) as at present there were frequent complaints of cable wire theft.
