BJP undergoing ideological crisis: Uma
Barwani, MP, Sep 17 (UNI) Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) President and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti today said the BJP is undergoing through 'ideological crisis' over several issues such as Reliance Fresh.
Talking to reporters here, Ms Bharti made a scathing attack at the BJP for adopting double standards over Reliance Fresh outlets.
She said opening up of Reliance Fresh outlets in Madhya Pradesh was against the policies of the RSS and the BJP.
On putting up a lock on Reliance fresh store in Indore, the BJ President said she had full faith in the Constitution and law of the country. However, sometimes law had to be taken into hands for the welfare of poor.
However, she justified her putting up lock on the store saying that it did not amount to breaking the law.
Ms Bharti said she would not have any problem if Reliance and such groups forayed into big dams, road, electricity and other industrial ventures instead of directly affecting employment of poor.
She said she would not produce any disturbance during the Global Investors Meet scheduled to take place in Indore.
The firebrand leader said her party would fight coming assembly by-election in Khargone and state assembly elections next year with full vigour.
She added that the BJ might field candidates during the Gujarat assembly polls.
