UP govt directs application of e-governance

Lucknow, Sep 16 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today passed directions for the effective implementation of e-governance in the state.

Principal Secretary, State Information Technology and Electronic department, V N Garg said '' the various schemes and programmes, which are being implemented in the state, should be monitored through video conferencing.'' Not only it would be cost effective, but also save time and regulate the implementation of e-governance, he noted.

Besides, necessary assistance for its appliance at the district level would be provided by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) department.
