Soumitra Chatterjee felicitated in Tripura

Agartala, Sep 16 (UNI) A Tripura-based cultural organisation 'Rabisudha' today felicitated veteran Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee and presented him the lifetime achievement award at a function here.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar released the music album 'Brishtibheja Bhalobasha', a joint endeavour of Mr Chatterjee and Ms Tithi Debbarman, legendary Rabindra Sangeet artist of Tripura, produced by HMV.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Chatterjee said he had a mission to set up a parallel music world based on Bengali culture across Tripura, West Bengal and Bangladesh.
