The cost of a GPRS connection is Rs 249, a price slight more than the other two service providers. Cell One is Rs 190 and Airtel is Rs 240, Mr Deka added.
''This is the introduction price only and we will soom bring the price down once the service takes off,'' Mr Deka added.
The Telecom would also be enhancing its network resources to offer EDGE enabled services for better downloads and internet speed.
