PM should apologise on 'Ram Sethu' issue: BJP

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 16 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Vinay Katiyar today said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should apologise to the people on 'Ram Sethu' issue.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Katiyar also said the Ministers concerned with the issue should quit office.

Mr Katiyar reitereated there would be no compromise on the 'Ram Sethu' and the security of the country.

The government's affidavit on 'Ram Sethu' in the Supreme Court questioned the very existence of Lord Ram, he added.

He also suggested the constitution of a Joint Parliamentary Committee to discuss the nuclear agreement with the US.
