Nepal polls: High security at Indo-Nepal border
Gorakhpur, Sep 16: Ahead of the November 22 general elections in Nepal, unprecedented security arrangements would be made at the Indo-Nepal border.
Talking to the sources here today, SSB Deputy Director General S Bandopadhay said ''the Indo-Nepal border, adjoining the Maharajganj, Shrawasti, Balrampur and Siddharthnagar districts, would be sealed 48 hrs before the elections.
For beefing up security, SSB in strength would be deployed at the border. The forest police, Custom Department and SSB officers would work with a joint strategy, he informed.
He added the intelligence agencies across the Indo-Nepal border had been directed to be alert.
