More than 30 dead in Phuket plane crash - Thai TV

BANGKOK, Sep 16 (Reuters) More than 30 people were killed when an airliner slid off the runway on the Thai resort island of Phuket when landing in driving rain on Sunday, ITV television said.

Airport officials said the plane, flying from Bangkok, was carrying 123 passengers and an unknown number of crew.
