Five killed by lightning mishap

Karimnagar, Sep16: Five women farmers, four of them of the same family, were killed on the spot when lightning struck them at Kishnaraopet village in Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh, late last night.

Police here said the women were taking shelter under a tree in the agricultural fields, when the accident occurred. The state government also announced exgratia to the families of the victims.
