Curfew in Bhorawadi area in Udaipur continues

Udaipur, Sep 16(UNI) Indefinite curfew imposed in the Bhorawadi police chowki area in Udaipur continured for the second day today even as no untoward incident was reported during the period.

Curfew was imposed in the area following a clash between two groups of the Dawoodi Bohra youths over offering prayers at the Moiyadpura Masjid.

Youths from the rival groups indulged stone pelting before the police intervened and dispersed the crowd using force.

Four people were injured in the incident. The district administraion, as a precautionary measure, clamped curfew on the area from 0930 hrs yesterday.
