CM answerable to people on Vigilance Commission Report: TDP

Hyderabad, Sep 16 (UNI) The Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today demanded that Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy should provide an answer to the people on Vigilance Commission Report, submitted by retired Commissioner R C Samal to the government.

Addressing a press conference here, TDP senior leader T Devendar Goud said the Chief Minister should take action against the officials and ministers, whose names figured in the Report.

Demanding that the government convene an all party meeting to discuss the Report, he said the government should clarify the allegations levelled by Mr Samal against the ministers.

He alleged that certain ministers and officials were making statements against Mr Samal that he had lost his mental balance and was in deep frustration.
