Advocate in captivity murdered by couple

Jamshedpur, Sep 16 (UNI) In a sensational incident a couple murdered an advocate 'in presence of police' after keeping him in captivity for about two months at Sonari near here.

Sadhan Chatterjee, an advocate of Jamshedpur court was missing from July 22 and despite an FIR lodged and efforts by Jamshedpur Bar Association members and the family, the advocate was not traced.

Despite a tip off, regarding the advocates kidnapping the police failed to rescue him yesterday from a couple who had confined him in a house. Later the police recovered the advocates body in pool of blood after breaking in and arrested the couple.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Sangita Kumari rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
