UP: Wanted criminal killed in encounter

A
notorious
criminal,
carrying
a
bounty
of
Rs
20,000
on
his
head,
has
been
killed
in
police
encounter
in
Farukhabad
district
of
Uttar
Pradesh.
Police today said Ram Sagar alias Sagar Mallaha was shot dead in Kayamganj area, where the encounter took place late last night.
Illicit weapons and a large number of cartridges were recovered from his possession.
He was facing charges under 12 criminal cases, including several heinous crimes.
