Three killed as bus rams into stationary lorry

Thanjavur, Sep 15 (UNI) Three persons, including a two-year-old boy, were killed and 16 others injured when the Government bus in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary lorry at Thirukanoorpathi village on Thanjavur-Pudukkottai road last night.

Police said the bus was proceeding from Marthandam to Nagapattinam when the mishap occurred.

The injured were admitted to Thanjavur Medical College Hospital.

Police arrested the bus driver.
