Lahore, Sep 15: President Pervez Musharraf would take oath as a civilian President on November 15 after the Pakistan Muslim League (Qaumi) and its allies re-elect the General from the present assemblies, the ruling party"s General Secretary Mushahid Hussain has said.

The ruling PML-Q and its coalition parties would re-elect President Musharraf without seeking help from other political parties, Mushahid told Geo news.

"Musharraf would doff his uniform before November 15 and will take presidential oath", he added.

Mushahid said that Benazir Bhutto"s announced return date was "friendly", and added that the PML-Q would welcome her.

Nawaz Sharif was not allowed to stay because of his agreement with the government, and the fact that he had come with a "demolition plan", the Daily Times quoted Mushahid, as saying.

He recommended an across the board general amnesty to open a new political chapter in Pakistan.
