Tally launches 'Earn while you learn'programme

Mumbai, Sep 14 (UNI) 'Pragati', an ''Earn while you Learn'' programme, aiming to empower youth in the country to become self-reliant by availing the earning opportunities, was unveiled here today.

Launching the programme, India's leading Accounting Software major, Tally (INDIA) Private Ltd said the youth could avail of multi-pronged benefits through the programme.

Students enrolling for Pragati, not only get an opportunity to hone their skills as Tally Certified Accounting Professionals, thereby enhancing their employability, but also become self-reliant by availing of the earning opportunities, the CEO of the company Avinash Gupta told reporters here this afternoon.

In addition to this, they would also get to experience real-life entrepreneurial skills depending on their career-aspirations, he said.

'Pragati' is a pan-india initiative by Tally. This programme is currently open for enrolment and will come to a close on October 18.

Through Pragati, Tally plans to reach out to a wide section of Indian society including students, unemployed youth, homemakers, accounting professionals and entrepreneurs. It is also open to current and ex Tally-trained students. Tally's unique and massive contact programme will reach out to millions of students nationwide, spreading the theme of Pragati, he said.

Tally has deployed a field force of over 5,500 people for 45 days to forge collaboration with colleges across the country, Gupta added.
