Steel Ministry to institute Hindi awards for PSUs

New Delhi, Sept 14 (UNI) The Ministry of Steel will institute three prizes for the Public Sector Undertakings under its control for excellent work in Hindi.

Addressing the officers and staff of the Ministry Minister of State for Steel Akhilesh Das said besides being the national language, Hindi has served as a wonderful link language for the country.

On the occasion of Hindi Day, he said the language has gained popularity internationally through our movies and songs.

Complementing the officers and staff, he urged them to take up more original work in Hindi.

Hindi-speaking people should learn other Indian languages also to promote national integration, he said in an official release issued here today.
