Ruling JD(U) MLA fumes for neglect of his constituency

Hajipur, Sep 14 (UNI) JD(U) MLA from Lalganj Vijay Kumar Shukla alias Munna Shukla had expressed his reservation on insensitivity of the state government in execution of various development and welfare schemes in his constituency.

Mr Shukla said despite his repeated requests to state government for accelerating the pace of execution of development and welfare schemes in his constituency, no concrete step was taken.

''Fed up with insensitivity of the NDA government on the issue, I had decided to resign from the state assembly but had deferred the decision on request of the local people'', he added.

''Roads, schools, hospitals and private dwelling units had been damaged during the flood fury and massive efforts from the government and other related agencies were required to bring back the area on path of development and prosperity'', Mr Shukla noted.
