Rev James Santhosam apointed DRUCC member

Chennai, Sep 14 (UNI) Rev James Santhosam, the founder president of Prince of Peace Ministries, has been appointed as a member of Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC) of Bangalore division.

Rev Santhosam would be the member of DRUCC till August 31, 2008, as nominee under category of special interest, Senior Divisional Manager, Bangalore said in his order.

Rev Santhosam, after entering into Christian pastoral service in 1971, founded the Prince of Peace, a charitable trust and had been involved in service to the society for the past 36 years.

Prince of Peace was involved in a number of social welfare activities in the villages of South India and some of the ongoing community development programmes included free medical care for the poor, fee educational programme for the poor and support tools for the physically handicapped.

As a representative of various Christian organisations, both in India and overseas, he had visited countries like US, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Taiwan.
