Rajagopal observes fast over Salem Division issue

Palakkad, Sep 14 (UNI) Former minister of state for Railways O Rajagopal today observed a ten-hour fast at Olavakkode in protest against the bifurcation of Palakkad Division to form Salem Divison, 'without protecting Kerala's interests.' Speaking on the occasion, BJP Kerala President P K Krishnadas said the party would observe a state-wide hartal on the day on which the Salem Division was inaugurated.

Earlier, BJP National Council member C K Padmanabhan inaugurated the fast.
