Punjab NRI Sabha to set up women cell

Jalandhar, Sept 14 (UNI) Punjab NRI Sabha would soon set up a women cell to solve the problems faced by women after marrying NRIs.

This was disclosed by former Member of Parliament and patron of the NRI Sabha Balbir Singh during the welcome ceremony organised by the Sabha members here today after his appoinment by Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal last month.

The other patron of the Sabha former MLA Surjit Singh Rakhra said that the Sabha would also have a legal cell to provide legal facilities to needy NRIs so that their problems could be solved at the earliest.
