PM asks people to recapture spirit of freedom struggle

New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today hoped that Ganesh Chaturthi inspires people to recapture the spirit of freedom struggle and re-dedicate themselves to nation-building.

Greeting people on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the Prime Minister said no less a person than Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak used Ganesh Chaturthi for the cause of freedom struggle.

''Let the festivities associated with Ganesh Chaturthi inspire us to recapture the spirit of the freedom struggle and to rededicate ourselves to the larger cause of nation building,'' the Prime Minister said in his message.
