Mysore to host first ever Inter-Varsity theatre festival

Bangalroe, Sep 14(UNI) Mysore would host the first ever National level Inter-university theatre festival 'Rastriya Rangotsava' from 17th of this month.

Speaking to newsmen Mr J S Shashidhar, the vice chancellor, Mysore University here today informed that in the 16-day national theatre festival as many as 450 students from 19 universities would participate in it.

The event is being organised in association with Karnataka Nataka Academy and the Mysore University in which the translated versions of Kannada Plays would also be staged during the festival he added.
