Mysore races cancelled due to heavy rains

Mysore, Sep 14 (UNI) The authorities of Mysore Race Club have decided to cancel the today's races as heavy overnight rains had left the track unfit for racing.

According to the race club secretary K G Anantharaj Urs, the races have been cancelled as tracks were not suitable for racing due to heavy downpour.

However, the Classic event of the Karnataka Horse Owners Association Mysore 1000 Guines 2007 (Grade III) slated for today would be held on September 20, he said in a statement.
