Monsanto India to sell sunflower unit for $ 3.9 mln
New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) Seed technology firm Monsanto India Ltd today said its board has approved selling of its sunflower seeds business to the Indian arm of Belgian Devgen for 3.91 million dollars.
The deal also includes Mosanto's inventory at cost, the company said in a statement.
The sale is part of a deal by the US-based Monsanto to sell several of its Asian agricultural seed businesses to Devgen.
