It's not just chak de India, take to sport to be healthy:Kapil

Chennai, Sep 14 (UNI) Former India captain and popular brand ambassador Kapil Dev today drove home the adage ''health is wealth'' to an audience here today observing ''North, South, East or West, India has to be a healthy country.'' Speaking at a function to announce the launch of a world class Sports Complex at Maraimalainagar area near here by a private construction company Hallmark Infrastructure along with its new 2.5 million sq ft exclusive housing facility, the former India captain exhorted them to take to sport naturally to stay healthy.

He said, however talented intellectually one might be, he cannot make use of it unless he is healthy.

''You may have wealth, fantastic thinking power, but you cannot enjoy them if you don't have good health'', Indian cricket's only world cup winning captain, pointed out.

Kapil went on '' you'll remain healthy only if you take to sports.'' The new sports academy 'Nisa Hallmark Sports Country', for which Kapil Dev is the brand ambassador is being built with the help of Australian Sports Academy. It will have world class facilities for basketball, Beach Soccer and Volleyball, indoor cricket and table tennis. Well known coaches and sportspersons would also be associated with it, Executive Vice Chairman Hari Hangeshwaran announced.

The academy would be called 'Hallmark Sports County'.
