Computerised Searchlight atop Chamundi Hills demonstrated

Mysore, Sep 14 (UNI) A demonstration of the newly installed computerised searchlight atop Chamundi Hills to enthrall the visitors during Dasara festivities was held today.

The search light centure beamed laser light in various colours using a variable controller. The beam covered the entire city and it was a scintillating spectacle in the dark in attractive colour like yellow, red and blue.

During the Dasara festivities it was proposed to illuminate the Mahishasura Statue and the circle around atop of the Hill. Work on Special illumination during Dasara are in full swing, announced Chamundeswari Electricity Supply Company Executive Engineer Mohammed Ghouse Sharif.

The plan for illuminating the historic buildings in the city has been almost finalised and work would commence soon, he added.
