Computerised searchlight atop Chamundi Hills

Mysore, Sep 14 (UNI) A demonstration of the newly installed computerised searchlight atop Chamundi Hills, to enthrall the visitors during Dasara festivities, was held today.

The search light centure beamed laser light in various colours using a variable controller. The beam covered the entire city and it was a scintillating spectacle in the dark in attractive colours.

During the festivities it was proposed to illuminate the Mahishasura statue and the circle atop the Hill. Work on Special illumination during Dasara are in full swing, announced Chamundeswari Electricity Supply Company Executive Engineer Mohammed Ghouse Sharif.

The plan for illuminating the historic buildings in the city had been almost finalised and work would commence soon, he added.
