Cable operators' assn urges CM to solve pending problems
Nawabpet, Sep 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Rural Cable Operators' Association (APRCOA) today urged Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy to solve their long-pending problems and save the cable operators.
In a memorandum to the Chief Minister here, they demanded, among other things that electricity charges be collected under the fourth category instead of commercial category, entertainment tax berevoked in rural areas and maintenance of network in rural areas, and the government should provide bank loan facilities to the operators.
The leaders also said in rural areas they played a key role in educating the people about the implementation of welfare schemes.
