Brahmotsavams: Conditional permission for 5 channels

Tirupati, Sep 14 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams' (TTD) has given conditional permission to five channels to cover the 'Srivari Vahanam' processions on the four mada streets during the event commencing tomorrow.

TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary said the channels were permitted to use six specific points at four corners of the mada streets.

For security reasons, the channels should share the six points along with DD. One cameraman on stage and an assistant under the stage were permitted. However, at no cost these persons should leave the dias.

The DD could use eight points, including the six points provided to the channels.

For programmes inside the temple like Dwajarohanam and Snapana Thirumanjanam, DD would provide the feed to the private channels.
