Assam Rifles Commanders' conference held

Imphal, Sep 14 (UNI) A two day Assam Rifles (AR) Commanders Conference was conducted at IGAR (South) headquarters at Mantripukhri here from September 12, sources said today.

The conference was presided over by Major General B K Chengapa, IGAR (South).

The conference reviewed the prevailing security environment in the Manipur along with issues related to training and administration.

The IG complimented all commanders for the excellent work being done by the Para Military force in all fields and hoped that the force would continue its efforts towards development of the insurgency prone state.
