UP, Assam team in Hyd to study Aarogyasri scheme

Hyderabad, Sep 13 (UNI) A team of officials from Uttar Pradesh and Assam Governments, along with representatives of German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), visited Aarogyasri Health Care Trust, Gandhi Hospital to study the application and efficacy of Rajiv Aarogyasri Community Health Insurance Scheme, implemented in three districts of Andhra Pradesh.

The team said both the governments (Assam and UP) were contemplating to implement similar schemes immediately, as it was found successful here, according to a release here.

The scheme is implemented in Anantapur, Mahabubnagar and Srikakulam districts on a pilot basis.
