Tsunami warning after quake in Indonesia's Sulawesi

JAKARTA, Sep 13 (Reuters) Indonesia's Meteorology agency today issued a tsunami warning after a strong earthquake hit southeast of Sulawesi island.

The agency put the quake at 6.4 on the Richter scale and at a depth of 30 km (19 miles). The US Geological Survey put the magnitude at 6.6.

The earthquake was far away from a series of powerful quakes that have struck south Sumatra over the last few days.
