Tata Teleservices unveils complete web-browser for mobile users

New Delhi, Sept 13 (UNI) Tata Teleservices, country's leading telecom service provider, today launched full-fledged mobile web browser for its mobile users.

The new capabilities of the mobile browser has a faster access of CDMA and the web browsing is three to four times faster than the GPRS, Tata Teleservices Ltd Chief Operating Officer (New Delhi and NCR) Debashis Sur said.

''With our new mobile web browser, Tata Indicom customers can get an experience on the handsets that are quiet affordable,'' he said.

Priced at Rs 5,499, the new set--Samsung Explore-- has a web browsing speed of 415 Kbps.

The new handset has mobile Internet facility ranging from Rs 10 per day to Rs 99 for a month with Internet access.

The handset has a number of other features, including camera, MP3, FM and SD card memory.

Tata teleservices which has a total customer base of over 19 million operates in more than 3,400 towns across 20 circles.
