Ram Sethu issue has thrill and romance: Uma

Bhopal, Sep 13 (UNI) The Ram Sethu issue is now a combo of romance and thrill, feels Bharatiya Janashakti Founder-President and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti.

''The situation has been created by withdrawal of the Centre's affidavit on the issue,'' she told reporters here.

The firebrand sadhvi explained that when she urged a television news channel to initiate a SMS campaign to dovetail public sentiment on the Ram Sethu issue, the channel's reply was that the issue was devoid of both romance and thrill.

''The romance is now provided by the tug-of-war between the Centre's Congress-led United Progressive Alliance regime and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam while the thrill comes from withdrawal of the affidavit,'' she quipped.
