Three sentenced to life in dowry murder case

Patna, Sep 12 (UNI) Additional District and Sessions Judge Rampravesh Sharma today sentenced three people to life imprisonment in a dowry murder case.

According to charges, the convicts - the deceased woman's husband Upendra Kumar, and his parents Yadav Rajeshwar Rai and Kusum Devi had demanded among other things a motorbike as dowry. Unable to deliver, Sangita Devi was killed in Kothiya under Digha police station here on May 25, 1998.
