KSSR's three hour road roko evokes total response

Hubli, Sep (UNI) Karnataka ShriRam Setu Rakshana Samaiti's call for three hour road roko pressing for the protection of Ramasetu, evoked near total response in the twin city of Hubli-Dharwad.

Almost all vehicles, barring stray autorickshaws, were off the road from 0800 hours to 1100 hours. Some of the business establishments were also closed as today being the weekly market holiday.

Commissioner of police Narayan Nadamani told UNI that the protest was peaceful and traffic was diverted by the authorities at some places for the smooth traffic movement .
