Former BDO sent to jail in corruption case

Patna, Sep 12 (UNI) A special court here today remanded judicial custody to a former Block Development Officer (BDO) till September 25 in a case of corruption.

During the day accused Radhika Raman Prasad Singh surrendered before the special vigilance judge of Patna S K Panwar with a bail petition. The bail application would be heard tomorrow.

The case was related to financial irregularities committed in construction of a road under Chanari police station area of Rohtash district. The case was registered in 2000.
