Chopra Committee gets three months' term extension

Jaipur, Sep 12 (UNI) The Rajasthan Government has accorded three months extension to the Justice Jasraj Chopra Committee to examine the Gujjars' demand for ST status.

An official spokesman said the Chopra Committee's term was being extended for another three months and the formalities for issuance of notification to this effect were being done.

The term of three-member committee constituted three month ago was due to expire today, he said.
