Charges framed against Moninder Singh Pandher

Ghaziabad, Sep 12 (UNI) The special CBI court today framed charges against Moninder Singh Pandher, one of the main accused in the Nithari killings.

Taking cognisance of the evidence in the murder case of 25-year-old Payal Jain, Special Judge Rama Jain framed charges of murder, rape, concealing of facts, besides being a part of the conspiracy, against the accused.

The victim's counsel Khalid Khan said that on the basis of evidence, Pandher was chargesheeted along with his servant Surinder Koli.

The court framed charges under section 302, 376, 281 and 128 B of the IPC.

Nandlal, Payal's father, had filed an application in the court under section 216 of the IPC.
