UPA has redeemed another pledge to Aam Admi: Cong

New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) The Congress today said the UPA government had redeemed yet another pledge it had made in the National Common Minimum Programme (NCMP) by introducing in Parliament the Unorganised Sector Workers Social Security Bill 2007.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh were the driving force behind the Bill, party spokesperson Jayanti Natarajan told reporters.

With this, the government had gone ahead with all the three announcements made by Dr Singh in his 60th Independence anniversary address, she said.
